NATIONS AND REGIONS EAST
Nations and Regions East (NRE) was established in October 2005 as a representative group to coordinate and champion 2012 Games related strategic issues across the East of England with the aim of maximising the benefit to the region from the Games.
The partnership brings together representatives from key regional agencies and local authority representation from across the six counties in the region
NRE is working together to rise to the challenge of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games by creating a sustainable legacy that extends far beyond the sporting landscape and includes: economic development and regeneration, employment, skills, education, tourism, culture and health/wellbeing and volunteering.
