Realising the potential of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games

The 2012 Games will provide a fantastic sporting spectacle for the whole nation but as a region hosting two Games events our residents will be even closer to the action.

The East of England will deliver a stong sporting legacy with more people playing sport in improved facilities, better access and opportunities for athletes to progress to be the best and clubs well supported by volunteers and coaches.
